Information we handle
We store account details you provide, game history, ratings, virtual-currency transactions, invitations, and chat messages. Guest play uses a persistent random identifier in an encrypted cookie. If you sign in through Google or Facebook, we may receive your provider ID, name, email address, and avatar URL.
How we use it
We use this information to operate multiplayer games, matchmaking, leaderboards, account access, fraud and abuse prevention, support, service reliability, and first-party product analytics. Analytics records named gameplay milestones and random visitor identifiers, not secret words or chat contents. Other players can see your display name, game results, rating, and messages you send in a match.
Cookies and advertising
Essential cookies keep you signed in, protect forms, and connect live games. WordWrangle currently shows reserved house sponsorship placements but loads no advertising network or third-party analytics. If that changes, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before those services are enabled.
Retention and choices
Game and transaction records are retained while needed to run the service and protect its integrity. Registered players can permanently delete their account from Account settings. Some anonymized match records may remain where needed for game integrity, security, legal compliance, or resolving disputes.
Safety and contact
Do not send sensitive personal information in match chat. WordWrangle is not directed to children under 13. Before launch, the operator must publish a monitored privacy contact address here.
